ALBEMARLE, N.C. -- Two gang members responsible for robberies in Albemarle have been arrested, according to the Albemarle Police Department.

Employees reported the first robbery early on Aug. 28 at a Holiday Inn Express.

Using surveillance video, responding officers identified the suspects as Jonathan Mark Davis and Vincent Jamal Miller.

Days later, the assistant manager of a Pizza Hut on North Albemarle Road reported being robbed at gunpoint by a black man, later identified as Miller. Police say Davis was also involved.

Both suspects have been taken into custody and are now charged for both incidents. They each admitted to being gang members, investigators say.
