'No Swimming' advisory lifted for Lake Wylie
CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- A no swimming advisory has been lifted for Lake Wylie.
Mecklenburg County officials say 800 gallons of sewage spilled into a cove in the Riverpointe development on Tuesday as a result of a broken swear line.
Utilities, Inc. stopped the flow.
Officials tested samples of the water for fecal matter until levels were deemed safe drops to a safe. The advisory was lifted Thursday afternoon.
