CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Bojangles is no spring chicken anymore.
The Charlotte-based chain opened its 600th store on Tuesday on Galleria Boulevard.
Mayor Clodfelter was on hand for the restaurant s ribbon cutting, along with other community leaders and business officials with the chain.
Five-hundred was a proud moment for us, Kenny Avery with Bojangles said. But as we click off the years, with all the stores that we open, 600, 700, all the way to 1,000, we re extremely proud of our partnership with this community.
Bojangles Famous Chicken n Biscuits opened its first store in Charlotte in 1977. The company now operates in 10 states.
