FORT MILL, S.C. Nation Ford High School was on lock down after a Facebook post posed a threat to the school.

According to the Fort Mill Police Department, the School Resource Officer was notified that there was a direct threat to the school via a Facebook posting.

Around 1:10 p.m. on Friday the school was placed on soft lockdown as officers responded. School officials said a soft lockdown contains everyone inside of the building and visitors are not allowed into the school.

Officials said the person initiating the threats was a teenager residing in Pineville. Pineville Police located the teen and took him into custody.

It was not immediately clear what was posted to Facebook.
