CHARLOTTE, N.C -- Hundreds of pink clad walkers are taking over the streets of Charlotte.

The 8th annual Avon Walk for Breast Cancer started Saturday morning in Frazier Park.

Participants will walk almost 40 miles over the two day event. They're raising money to help find a cure for breast cancer.

Each person who took part in the walk raised at least $1,800 to participate.
