CHARLOTTE, N.C. Police in Charlotte are investigating an early morning shooting at the NC Music Factory.

Officials say one person was shot in the parking lot of a club around 2:45 a.m. Monday. The victim has non-life threatening injuries.

According to initial reports, an argument broke out among two men in the parking lot near the Label, one of several clubs at the entertainment venue off North Graham Street. During the dispute, according to witnesses, one man fired a shot at another man, wounding him in the abdomen.

The alleged shooter drove off. Police spent several hours talking to employees and others who were in the vicinity of the shooting. They concluded the investigation shortly before 6 a.m.

No arrests have been made and the victim s name has not been released.

Monday's shooting is the second at the NC Music Factory in less than a year. Two men were shot during a fight outside Club Halo on July 13.
