(CHARLOTTE, NC) - Postal workers are preparing to hit the streets in a show of support for Saturday mail delivery.

Letter carriers here in Charlotte will rally Sunday along with thousands all across the country. Their message is ending Saturday mail would hurt the postal service's bottom line and it could have a significant impact on local jobs.

The letter carriers union recently launched an ad campaign pushing back against the change. This month the United States house instructed the postal service to keep six day delivery through September

That rally gets underway at 2:00 pm at the Carmel post office in South Charlotte
