CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are looking for a man who robbed the Fifth Third Bank on South Tryon Street Wednesday morning.

Police said the robbery happened around 9:30 a.m. when the suspect walked into the bank and handed a note to a teller demanding money.

The suspect is described as a black man about 35-45 years old, 5-feet-10 and 240 pounds with a groomed beard.

Police said he wore a black baseball cap, a light colored flannel shirt and light colored pants.

No getaway car was seen. No one was injured, police said.
