Hey Everybody --

Larry Sprinkle told me today during the noon newscast that the weather is going to be pretty gray, gloomy and cold the next few days, but the bright spot is Sunday, with sun and temperatures in the low 50 s.

This being said, there are lots of events going on this weekend, and I thank my friend Jody Mace from Charlotte on the Cheap for these free/cheap weekend ideas.

Friday: Free stargazing with telescopes and assistance from the Charlotte Astronomy Club at Fisher Farm in Davidson. They ll provide the telescopes, you provide the family. Click here for more information.

Saturday: Family day at Bechtler Museum of Modern Art. They ll have all kinds of special tours and workshops, and special discounts available at the gift shop. Kids under 18 get in for free and adults get in for half price ($4) Family tours and hands-on activities. To learn more click here.

Saturday: Charlotte Aquatic is hosting free swim lessons for kids 6 to 30 months. On Friday the class starts at 10 a.m. and on Saturday the class is at 5:30 p.m.
Instructors will be teaching basic swim and aquatic safety. Call 704-341-9673 to reserve a space.

Sunday:Free tango at Amelie s - no dance experience required!

For Dion s Daily Deal, I found an *amazing* deal for free sticky notes and I mean a lot of them, worth 12 bucks! Just bring this coupon to Staples and redeem. (Maximum 2 per household.) Read the fine print on this one.

Also, if you re in the market for more cheap magazine subscriptions, you can get Weight Watchers Magazine for just under $4 or Ready Made Magazine (this one s really fun with arts and crafts and home decorating ideas) for just $2.99 with the code: READY Just go to to redeem!

Okay, t-minus four hours until the weekend, have a great one and I ll see you on TV.

Thanks for another great week!
