BURLINGTON, N.C. (AP) -- Authorities say hunters have found the body of a 90-year-old Burlington woman missing for four weeks in woods about 70 miles away in Halifax County, Va.

Investigators say Ruzie Suggs' body was found Saturday morning near her 2005 Cadillac Deville. Her miniature gray poodle Pierre was found near her, still alive.

Burlington police say Suggs was last seen on Sept. 8 when she dropped a friend off in Greensboro. Investigators think she got confused driving home and ended up driving off a rural road between South Boston and Clarksville, Va., and getting stuck

Cell phone records indicate Suggs tried to make several phone calls early on Sept. 9, but they did not go through.

An autopsy is planned to determine how Suggs died.
