Arrested are 42-year-old David Franklin Hobbs, Jr., David Allen Hobbs, 21, 21-year-old Kenneth Davis Taylor and 22-year-old Samuel Ryan Templin, all of Monroe.

Each of the suspects is charged with numerous counts of felony breaking and entering and larceny after breaking and entering.

Sheriff Cathey says not all of the men are accused in each of the 43 break-ins, but as a group, officials believe the four are responsible and say more arrests are possible.

The majority of the items stolen were hand and power tools, yard equipment, fishing and hunting equipment and firearms. The stolen goods have a value of more than $100,000.
