Happy Tuesday!

A couple of years ago, Chick-fil-A held a special event, where anyone wearing a cow costume could get a free chicken sandwich. With no shame whatsoever, I donned my paper cow ears, and pinned on a tail and some black spots, and walked into the restaurant, bracing myself for utter (udder, ha ha) embarrassment. Instead, I was pleasantly surprised to see everyone, including grown up men in suits were wearing partial cow costumes, chowing down on chicken sandwiches!

If you ve been to some local area Chick-fil-A restaurants lately, you may have seen a poster, advertising tonight s pajama party from 5-8 p.m.This is a promotion where you wear pajamas to the store, and you can get a free Spicy Chicken Biscuit or athree piece Chick-n-Minis. Check to see if your location is participating here.I know of at leastfour locations where they ve confirmed tonight s party.

Next, is another totally free, full-sized food freebie. It s from the company Veggie Patch. They make frozen foods with soy protein. With this coupon I found onlineyou can get one entire free product! The items range from broccoli bites, to mini corn dogs to chicken nuggets. They re sold at Harris Teeter stores, Costco, and a few other places.

Lastly, this offer I think will help a lot of people with friends, family, and overall loved ones in Japan. AT&T and Verizon both are offering different versions of free text messages and free phone calls to Japan.

Here is part of a press release I found on this offer:

AT&T and Verizon are providing free calling and texting to Japan as that country recovers from last week's earthquake and tsunami.

AT&T said Monday that its post-paid wireless customers won't be charged for international long-distance calls and texts to Japan.

Beyond that, AT&T's residential wireline customers can get credits that will allow for 60 minutes of free calls to Japan.

All of the AT&T offers on Japan communications run from March 11 to March 31.

Meanwhile, post-paid customers of Verizon Wireless can do free calling, texting and multimedia messaging with Japan. That runs from March 11 through April 10.

The joint venture of Verizon Communications and Vodafone is also offering customers the chance to donate $10 to various non-profit organizations by sending text messages to designated short codes.

And Verizon Communications is offering free calls from residential landlines to Japan between March 11 and April 10.

For more details, please contact your wireless provider.

Have a wonderful rest of your day -- see you at 4 p.m. and 5:30!
