CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Rain has made its way to the Charlotte area and it will be here for through the weekend.

It won't rain all day long, but the clouds will be with us most of the day, and we'll see pockets of rain, said John Wendel of NBC Charlotte's First Warn Storm Team.

These conditions are expected through Saturday evening.

Temperatures will be cool, with higs in the 50s. We're far below the average high of 73 for this time of year.

For sunrise services tomorrow, it shoudl be cloudy, but it looks like most of the rain will move off to the east, Wendel said.

We could have light rain to start Easter Sunday. Temperatures will be in the mid-60s.
