BENNETTSVILLE, S.C. (AP) -- A man has been charged with murder after a shooting at a store near Bennettsville.

Marlboro County sheriff's deputies say 22-year-old David Dixon had an argument with 27-year-old Christopher Bristow and another man in the store around 10 p.m. Thursday.

Investigators say Dixon shot the men outside the store. Bristow was killed, while the second man was treated and released after being taken to the hospital by a friend.

Deputies say Dixon was arrested about two hours later.

Dixon remains in jail and it wasn't known if he had an attorney.
