CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- A water main break has blocked part of a road near uptown on Friday.
Crews have closed the 1400 block of Queens Road West due to a water main break. Crews are working to repair an eight inch main break near the road.
Officials said the road damage from the break will likely take several days to repair.
Crews opened one lane of Queens Road West in both directions around 8:30 a.m. Commuters should still expect delays in the area.
Commuters can take Providence or Park roads to get around the water main break.
