The shooting took place at a home off of Jim Stone Street around 10 p.m.

Authorities were called to the home after a call was made for a domestic disturbance. Once police arrived on scene, a man pointed a gun at the officers.

The man's condition and identity have not been released.

This is the second shooting involving officers in Catawba County.
