CHARLOTTE, N.C. A Missouri senator is apparently worried about St. Louis's chance of getting the 2012 Democratic National Convention.
Missouri Senator Claire McCaskill (D-MO) told a St. Louis newspaper it's the silence that worries her. McCaskill is a key ally of President Obama, but says she hasn't heard anything at all.
She also says she knows the president feels strongly about campaigning in the south and that Charlotte has her worried.
It's still unclear when the convention committee will make its announcement.
