MOORESVILLE, N.C. -- NASCAR champion Joe Nemechek is selling his multi-million dollar equestrian estate in Mooresville.

Nemechek, who is best known for winning the 1992 Busch series championship, owns the estate called Finncastle. The property sits on 139 acres and was listed for $10.995 million.

Nemecheck and his wife, Andrea, own the home and will sell it on August 2 during an auction. The property, which includes horse stables, pens and other equestrian-related amenities, was originally owned by NASCAR legend Ernie Irvan.

The property is located at 9280 West NC Highway 52, about 20 miles north of uptown Charlotte, and has 8,900 square feet of living space, with five bedrooms, six full bathrooms and two half-bathrooms.

Included inside are luxuries like a media room, gym, pool and spa, enough room for eight cars and an office.

Concierge Auctions is the company maintaining the August 2 auction.
