SPARTANBURG, S.C. (AP) -- Authorities in Spartanburg County are investigating a deadly hit-and-run accident.

Coroner Rusty Clevenger says 39-year-old Jacquelyn Cara White was pronounced dead at around 5:20 a.m. Monday.

Clevenger says White had been struck by a car about an hour earlier. Authorities say White was found on the side of the road.

No arrests have been made in White's death, but Bill Rhyne of the South Carolina Highway Patrol says troopers have found the vehicle that hit White and are looking for a suspect.

An autopsy was scheduled for Monday afternoon.
