CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Firefighters were called to a north Charlotte home late Thursday afternoon.

The fire broke out at a home in the 5100 block of Foxbriar Trail just north of David Cox Road around 5 p.m. and was put out 30 minutes later after 27 firefighters were called to the scene.

The family was displaced due to the damage at the home, according to the Charlotte Fire Department.

It's unclear what caused the fire, but no one was injured.
