If filling up your car is taking a big chunk out of your wallet, here's news that may relieve you: crude oil prices are falling and wholesale prices are tumbling.

Experts say that lower costs could be passed down to the customer soon.

Right now, the national average for a gallon of regular unleaded is $3.80. In North Carolina, it s just under that at $3.79. In South Carolina, drivers are paying $3.60.
