CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- A man allegedly behind five armed robberies across Charlotte has been arrested.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg police say Moussa Moctor Diallo, 31, first robbed the Hollywood Beauty Supply in the 2500 block of Little Rock Road on May 23. Diallo threatened the employees with a knife and took off in a grey Jeep Cherokee, according to police.

Investigators say he robbed the 99 cent and Up store in the 3100 block of Sharon Amity Road and the Silver Express Food Mart in on Albemarle Road later than night.

Police say Diallo then hit two more locations the next day. He allegedly robbed Cardinal Awards in the 3500 block of South Tryon Street. An employee fired a shot at the suspect before Diallo fled the scene.

An officer spotted the vehicle after that incident and pulled over Diallo. He was arrested and taken to Carolinas Medical Center to treat his gunshots wounds. He was then charged for all five robberies, along with other charges.
