IRONSTATION, N.C. -- The Lincoln County Sheriff s Office is looking for a pickup truck in connection with vehicle break-ins in the Iron Station area.

The sheriff's office said a person in a white extended cab pickup used a stolen credit card around 6 a.m. Tuesday at Jerry s One Stop on Highway 27 East.

The card, which was stolen in the vehicle break-ins on Asbury Church Road, was used at the gas pumps at the convenience store.

Authorities are investigating a rash of break-in to unlocked vehicles in an area between Boger City and Iron Station. Since February 24 a total of 35 vehicles have been entered and all but one was unlocked, according to the sheriff's office.
