LANCASTER, S.C. -- The Chester Police Department has charged a man with attempted murder in a Thursday afternoon shooting.

Chester Police responded to the 100 block of Lancaster Street Thursday to find a black male, now identified as Robert Williams, Jr., suffering from three gunshot wounds.

Williams was taken to Chester Regional Medical Center before being transferred to CMC Main for treatment. Williams' current condition was not available.

On Monday, Chester Police arrested Travis Price on the charge of attempted murder in connection with Wiliams' shooting.
