LINCOLNTON, N.C. -- Authorities arrested a teenager accused of having a meth lab in Lincolnton last month.

Lincolnton police charged 18-year-old Scott Cirillo possession of methamphetamine and possession of pre-cursor materials.

Police said they charged Cirillo after an investigation which started on July 24 when officers responded to 807 South Poplar Street for a call of a possible portable methamphetamine laboratory found on the property.

Upon arrival, officers located a small portable methamphetamine laboratory in an outside location on the property.

The laboratory was determined to be a small portable lab described as the 'one pot method lab,' according to police.

The lab was documented, photographed, and seized as evidence.

Assisting the Lincolnton Police Department in this case was the Lincolnton Fire Department, Lincoln County E.M.S., Lincoln County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Division, and the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation.

Police said the investigation is still ongoing and more arrests are possible.

Cirillo was is being held at the Lincoln County Detention Center with no bond.
