ALBEMARLE, N.C. -- The Stanly County Sheriff's Office has charged two people in connection with the theft of a utility vehicle.
The Stanly County Sheriff's Office began investigating the theft of the John Deere Gator from T&D Buy, Sell, Trade, a business located in the 1400 block of East Main Street in Albemarle, on June 30.
Investigators developed 22-year-old Christopher Dewayne Morgan and 22-year-old Tabitha Nicole Cox, both of Concord, as the suspects in the larceny.
Authorities arrested Morgan and Cox on the charges of felony larceny and felony possession of stolen property last Wednesday in Cabarrus County. They were both booked in to the Cabarrus County Detention Facility with a $35,000 bond each.
The Gator was recovered.
