SALISBURY, N.C. -- Police are conducting a criminal investigation against a Salisbury mother accused of leaving her daughter alone at a park.
Josephine Mamie Bombo, 34, was arrested for contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
Police say she left her 10-year-old daughter for three to four hours while she went shopping in Winston-Salem. Neighbors tell NBC Charlotte Bombo refused to take her daughter, who they say was left crying at the park.
The neighbors called police and watched the girl until her mother returned.
Bombo was issued a $1,000 bond.
