MORGANTON, N.C. -- New information has been released following a triple-murder in Burke County.

Search warrants reveal jealousy was the apparent motive for the crime.

The newly released documents say Donald Kincaid told police he came home and saw his girlfriend, Barbara Johnson, dancing with another man.

He told investigators "one thing led to another."

When police arrived on scene, they found the bodies of Johnson, her son and a family friend.

Police say the victims were beaten to death.
