MORGANTON, N.C. (AP) - North Carolina police have found evidence that indicates a man in custody after the deaths of his girlfriend, her son and a family friend was involved in a struggle that left marks on his body.
The News-Herald of Morganton reports that search warrants describe that 56-year-old Donald Kincaid had bruising and swelling on his right side and right knee, and cuts near his face, shoulder and leg. Marks on his right forearm might have been bites by a human.
Morganton Police Chief Ronnie Rector said Monday that Kincaid is in custody but had not been charged in the deaths. Police said the victims were beaten to death.
