CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Charlotte-Mecklenburg police say four people were injured when a car hit a CATS bus Wednesday morning
It happened on South Tryon Street near the intersection of Woodlawn Road.
Investigators say a woman, driving a grey Chevrolet Impala, ran into the back of the bus as it was at a stop picking up passengers.
The woman driver of the car and three passengers on the bus where taken to Carolinas Medical Center and Presbyterian hospitals. All of them had minor injuries, according to police.
The driver of the CATS bus and several other passengers were not hurt in the accident. Police were able to clear the scene about an hour after the accident.
