CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Another round of scattered storms touched the Charlotte area Thursday.

Heavy rain fell this afternoon, resulting in some flash floods.

One woman tells NBC Charlotte traffic stopped on Morrison Boulevard in SouthPark. She snapped a photo of a car stuck in the water and says a man pulled a passenger out of the vehicle.

First Warn Storm Team Meteorologist says there is a chance for more storms Friday afternoon, with isolated storms hitting hard in some areas, mostly north. Other areas might not get any rain.
