SPOKANE -- Thousands of rubber ducks ended up in the Spokane River after being dropped off the Division Street Bridge.

It was all part of the El Katif Shriners annual Duck Race Sunday afternoon.

The ducks raced toward the floating stage at Riverfront Park.

Participants could buy a duck for $5. All the proceeds benefit the Shriners Hospital.

The winning duck owner took home $10,000.
