GASTON COUNTY, N.C. -- State Troopers are on the scene of a head-on collision in Gaston County late Wednesday morning.
The crash took place around 10:20 a.m.at the intersection of Alexis Lucia Road and Mariposa Road.

Two people were trapped in their vehicles due to the wreck, officials said, but both victims are expected to be OK.
