CONCORD, N.C. -- A special job fair for veterans kicks off Thursday morning at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
Nearly 40 veteran-friendly employers will be on site. NBC Charlotte caught up with the Director of Events for RecruitMilitary, the organization putting on the fair.
Robert Walker says veterans face special challenges when it comes to finding a job.
The hiring event is from 11a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday.
