CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- A Charlotte-bound flight was diverted after a passenger started demonstrating odd behavior Tuesday morning.

A U.S. Airways official said a flight from Las Vegas to Charlotte was diverted around 3:45 a.m. when a passenger started acting agitated and began walking up in down the aisle of the plane.

The pilot was forced to land in Albuquerque, and TSA officials removed the passenger from the plane.

The official said crews and passengers were interviewed about the incident, and then the plane was able to take off for Charlotte.

The disruptive passenger was questioned by FBI and TSA officials and then released.

The official said the passenger did not demonstrate any odd behavior or issues while being interviewed.

The plane landed in Charlotte around 8:30 a.m. There were 186 passengers on board.
