If your bathroom sink or tub drains are running slow, it may be time to clean out the clog.

The maker of the Turbo Snake claims it will help you fix those slow drains fast. But does it work?

Jessica Carlisle offered to test the product.

"It says it's as easy as insert, twist and remove," Carlisle said.

Carlisle, who admits she normally doesn't clean out her drain, was nervous about what she might find in her tub drain.

"I can see hair in there. That's really gross," she said.

Once she got Turbo Snake down the drain, Carlisle found it was easy to operate.

"Once you get past the metal part and then it gets stuck on the hair, it's easier to spin and then pull it out," Carlisle said.

It's what she pulled out that she didn't like.

"There's ridiculous amounts of hair," she said. "That's disgusting."

The makers of Turbo Snake say it can be reused, but after pulling out as much hair as Carlisle did, she wasn't sure she could use the Turbo Snake again.

"I don't think you could use it again. The Velcro on the end doesn't stay as strong," she said.

But Carlisle said the product makes good on its claim.

"I'd say yes (it works.) You should definitely try it," she said.

Turbo Snake costs about $10. For more information, visit www.buytheturbosnake.com.
