CHARLOTTE, N.C. – More than two dozen firemen were fighting a blaze at unoccupied home in southwest Charlotte early Christmas morning.

The Charlotte Fire Department says the blaze started around 4 on Wednesday on Choyce Avenue near Nations Ford Road.

It took 27 firefighters nearly 20 minutes to bring the blaze under control.

There were no injuries, and the home was vacant.

Investigators are still working to figure out what started the fire.
