This week, anchor Dave Wagner is joined by North Carolina State Senator Joel Ford, State Representative Charles Jeter and Erik Spanberg from the Charlotte Business Journal.

Part One:

Charlotte Mayor Anthony Foxx is nominated by President Obama to be Secretary of Transportation.  Charlotte Congressman Mel Watt is nominated by the president to lead the Federal Housing Finance Agency.  Will they be confirmed and, if so, who will take their places?

Part Two:

A secret meeting is called for Charlotte City Council members.  There is speculation they are considering a lawsuit to stop the transfer of Charlotte-Douglas Airport to a regional authority.  How would the confirmation of Anthony Foxx as Transportation Secretary change that dynamic?

A N.C. House bill comes up for a vote this week that would ease restrictions on guns in places that serve alcohol like bars and restaurants.  It would also make it legal to have a gun in your car on a college campus.

Part Three:

South Carolina voters go to the polls this Tuesday to elect a new member of Congress.  The sister of a famous comedian squares off against a former governor, famous for his “Appalachian Trail” comment.

Part Four:
