A woman burned with lye by her estranged husband is recovering after getting a full face transplant earlier this month.
Doctors say Carmen Tarleton is in great spirits and working hard to get stronger.
Carmen had burns over 80 percent of her body after being doused with an industrial strength chemical.
Boston doctors used the facial skin of a donor to do the transplant, including the neck, nose, lips, facial muscles, arteries and nerves.
