A California girl may have a shot in the national spelling bee after all. She was originally disqualified because of a mistake by the judges!
Braille-- that was the word Sierra Shoemaker had to spell in a district spelling bee.
She spelled it correctly, but according to the judges sheet it was spelled with only one "l".
The district administrators realized the mistake and now she's learning new words for the county spelling bee.
