CONCORD, N.C. – All four 'American Idol' judges returned to filming in Charlotte Wednesday, just a day after a heated argument on set of the reality show.
'American Idol' judges Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey had a heated argument while filming the show in Charlotte on Tuesday, TMZ.com reported.
Minaj can be heard swearing at Carey for several minutes during takes of filming. The argument gets pretty heated at one point when Minaj is seen yelling and pointing at Carey.
New 'Idol' judge Keith Urban is sitting between both of them during the argument and appears to try to diffuse the situation. Randy Jackson is also seen in the video trying to help stop the argument.
The whole argument started over a disagreement of a contestant's performance, according to TMZ.com
As rumors continue to circulate, all four judges showed up to Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord Wednesday afternoon. Jackson, Urban and Minaj arrived at 12:45 p.m. and spoke to the media and took pictures with a few dozen fans. Carey, meanwhile, arrived about 15 minutes later.
A trio of UNC Charlotte students wanted to see the judges and waited outside the speedway for a glimpse.
Sophomore Jimmy Richardson said, “It was so awesome. We were really close to them and everybody waved at us,” said sophomore Jimmy Richardson. “Nicki looked crazy as usual. Keith Urban was cool, Randy was cool. Mariah took really long to get here and took like five minutes to get out of the car but she was really nice and waved at us.”
