HICKORY, N.C. -- It's not every day you get to play golf with a hall of famer, but that is what happened to NBC Charlotte's Ira Cronin Wednesday at the Rock Barn Golf and Spa.
Cronin was invited to play in the Great Grand Champions Pro Am. He was paired with Maters champion and two time U.S. Open champion Billy Casper.
Casper is 81 years old and just wrote a book called ‘The Big 3 and Me’ and can still play, Cronin said.
