CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Discovery Place is a fun place to visit, with so much for everyone.

Science is brought to life there--- connect to the past and visit the future with interactive exhibits and fascinating experiments.  There’s the IMAX Theatre and lots of hands on activities for every age.

Strange Matter is one of the newest hands-on exhibits, using science to explore the bizarre world of modern materials and offering a glimpse into where the future might take us.

You can literally test stuff, break stuff, mix stuff, and heat stuff.

It’s all to actually show how strange matte can be!  It a blend of physics, chemistry, and engineering---showing how things are put together, how they might be improved, and how they can be changed to create brand new materials.

This morning on Larry’s Look, we saw the exhibit as Larry checked-out some the stuff.  From metals to magnets to glass and he heat, it was quite an experience!
