CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Many parents in the Charlotte region found ways to keep their kids cool and enjoy a summer day on Friday.
Whether it was going to an indoor ice skating rink or hanging by the pool at a local YMCA, many parents made sure their kids found ways to beat the heat.
