CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Jordan Frye has been in the dog walking business since he was 19. He's the owner of Queen City Dog service.

But over the weekend Charlotte-Mecklenburg police arrested Frye, 21, and accused him of stealing from his clients.

Investigators said Frye took expensive jewelry and electronics. They believe he used house keys to gain access to homes when the owners were away.

"I didn't treat him like an employee, I treated him like a little brother," said one woman who did not want to be identified.

Another victim said he was caught off guard.

"Excellent, sharp young man, great with animals," the man said.

"That's what was so upsetting when I found out about this because he had been with me for two years," said one victim.

So far officers have three victims, but given Frye's list of clients they say there is a potential for many more.
