CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Whether it’s the Quail Hollow Club or any golf course on the PGA Tour, there’s one person everyone relies on during the tournament.
That just happens to be an on-site meteorologist, who’s responsibility is forecasting just for the course where every PGA tournament is played.
Telvent meteorologist Stewart Williams joined us this morning on Larry’s Look to talk about doing the weather for each event.
With all the technology at his disposal, Stewart says it’s still an ‘inexact” science but he’s very much enjoyed the 18 years he’s spent on the road with some of the greatest golfers of all time.
