Looking for some prime Florida real estate with a lot of privacy? How about this Cold War-era bomb shelter?
It just went on the market and has 7,000 square feet, decontamination showers, and was meant to house five men for 30 days.
The bomb shelter was built by AT&T in an effort to keep the lines of communication open in case of nuclear attack. And it's sparked interest.
"Week or so ago, we had some preppers from a South Florida survivalist group, but probably the more practical use we've had is things such as antique car storage," says realtor Hoyt Murphy.
The price tag? $499,000. And, the new owner will have to work out some possible zoning issues with the county.
