CHARLOTTE, N.C. – A second person has died in Thursday's drive-by shooting near Hidden Valley in northeast Charlotte.
Police have released the names of all four people who were in a car on Reagan Drive that was peppered with gunfire by someone in a second car that pulled up alongside.
Inna Xiomara Gonzalez, 21, was pronounced dead at the scene Thursday afternoon.
Davion Najee Funderburk, 22, died Friday afternoon from his wounds.
Yvonne Rose is the mother of Brandon Alexander, who was wounded and has since been released from a hospital. She said teen rivalries were to blame for the shootings.
Asked if she meant gangs, she said, "No, they are not in gangs. No, they were just friends."
Alexander and Funderburk -- who was known as 'Bobo' -- were long-time friends and lived near each other in The Hamptons neighborhood located across from where the shootings happened.
Rose said her son used to date Inna Gonzalez.
"She is the sweetest person in the world. She didn't deserve that. She was in the wrong place at the wrong time," she said.
The fourth person shot was Anthrawn Springs, 19. He has been released from a hospital with a minor wound.
Police have not said anything about possible suspects or motive.
