CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- There’s a great way to sample some of the best food around, from some of the area’s finest locally-owned restaurants.
“Tour De Food” offers special tours to satisfy every palette. Food tours include uptown Charlotte, the NoDa art district, downtown Winston-Salem, and the beautiful town of Davidson.
You visit independently owned restaurants from fine dining to hidden dives the locals frequent. On the tour, the dining is mixed i with local history and interesting architecture.
This morning on Larry’s Look, Lisa Schnurr --the owner of Tour De Food -- took a group to some great spots in Davidson.
Larry and the group sampled some fantastic food from Toast, the Soda Shoppe, and topped it off with a visit to one of the best Italian restaurants in the area -- Compania Café and Trattoria.
