CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Duke Energy’s Energy Explorium offers educational and fun activities for everyone interested in learning more about electricity generation.
At the Explorium kids and adults can enjoy interactive exhibits, a virtual tour of the McGuire Nuclear Station and a movie about the history and building of Lake Norman….plus a mile-long nature trail.
This morning on Larry’s Look, we got a special behind the scenes tour of the Energy Explorium. Christine Pulley, Duke Energy spokesperson, gave us the tour and had some really interesting facts about electricity and nuclear power.
She also pointed-out the incredible power of the McGuire facility -- each one of the reactors there can power a city the size of Charlotte.
It’s free for everyone and you can find the hours and more details by going to: www.duke-energy.com
